R+W Coupling’s range of backlash-free couplings is now available from RR Fisher.

The bellows type couplings are manufactured with stainless bellows and are designed for use with servo, NC and stepper drive application.

The stainless material used in the bellows is a highly flexible high grade of stainless steel.  The bellows construction gives high torsional rigidity and zero backlash the requisite for these applications.  The bellows also have the ability of dampening vibrations.

This construction is unique in that it compensates for axial, angular & lateral misalignment.

Shaft fixing is by clamping hub, or tapered conical sleeves. Torque capacities range from the miniature series at 0.05Nm to 10,000Nm and shaft size from 1 to 180mm.

An economy range, the Ecoflex is available for shaft encoding, potentiometers and small servo drives.

The R+W range also includes a press fit model for ease of mounting and dismantling and a series of torque limiters for overload protection.
